MEET JANNEKE
Co-founder Janneke has an unstoppable drive for creating unique spaces. Her 20 years’ experience spans the intertwining disciplines of interior design, visual merchandising and creative direction, and began with dressing store windows with her sister Dolly – a creative partnership that continues to this day.
A perfectionist who appreciates beauty in the unpredictable, her creations have helped shaped memorable experiences for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, COS, Scotch & Soda, and Vogue Netherlands. During this time, she became interested in sustainable design, incorporating environmentally friendlier elements into her work whenever possible – a passion that would ultimately lead to Studio Green Crafts, and define its approach.
When she’s not dreaming up fantastical concepts, she’s busy transforming the little wooden cabin she recently bought in a remote forest in Belgium into an entirely self-sufficient home away from home.
MEET DOLLY
One half of Studio Green Crafts, Dolly has an encyclopedic knowledge of flowers and plants, finessed through years as a freelance florist: her signature free-flowing, uncomplicated compositions hero seasonal blooms sourced locally.
An accomplished set designer who honed her talents over 17 years creating beautiful store window displays – initially with sister Janneke – she always weaves floristry into her creations.
In her free time, she shares her know-how in bouquet-arranging classes – if she’s not busy attending lessons of her own learning all there is to learn about flowers. A keen gardener, she loves spending afternoons in her greenhouse, focusing on growing flowers naturally with the seasons.

Our affinity with nature stems from our founders Janneke and Dolly Verburgh, sisters who grew up in the idyllic Dutch countryside, and have a lifelong love for interiors, flowers, and great craftsmanship.
Connecting Janneke’s eye for design with Dolly’s expertise in floristry, Studio Green Crafts conceptualizes all sorts of spaces, offering both bespoke and ready-made services. Reflecting our ethos, we always design with sustainability in mind by sourcing locally first, recycling and up-cycling with possible, and collaboration with artisans on pieces that last.
